Moreover, their aim was to have a solution that connected to their Intranet and thereby allow them to repurpose materials published to that system with minimal duplication of effort.
This iPad app, SalesConnect, is a sales tool that enables Schroders UK sales team to present the latest fund information on the move.
The app allows Schroders' staff to present multiple file types including PDF, Microsoft Office documents and Video, allowing access to all the latest reports and fact sheets directly from the company’s SharePoint Intranet.
User profiles are managed centrally to control access to sensitive documents, with security provided on network and device level via password protection and document encryption. This is backed up by Schroders' Mobile Device Mangement System, which takes care of app distribution and management also.
Schroders’ sales team use SalesConnect to ensure their presentations have the most up-to-date information with exceptional impact, whether presenting one to one from the iPad itself, or to a boardroom via TV or projector.
The app streamlines the process of accessing, distributing and delivering the latest data and content across Schroder's teams and out to their clients.
