William Hill noticed early on that apps were going to be a massive market for mobile betting and wanted an app of their own that would add value to their customers. They wanted to develop an app that would be attractive to a wide range of end users, both for acquisition and retention purposes. The concept was around the notion of “How much do you want to win” and based on the idea that it could be suitable for various betters all with different experience.
Our Solution
William Hill chose Mubaloo to plan, design and develop this concept for them. In line with William Hill’s strategy the app was developed so that the user would choose how much they want to bet, how many selections they want to cheer on, and how much they are in line to win… and the app does the rest. The result is a fun, easy to use and interactive user experience.
The app was developed natively for both the iPhone and Android to try and reach as many of William Hill’s target audience as possible by developing on their customer’s two largest mobile platforms. The apps were built alongside each other with different design implications being taken into account for each of the mobile platforms. This is a great example of the difference native apps can make in terms of user experience and overall look and feel.
