We’re really pleased to announce a date for EE’s first 4GEE Hackathon! We’ll be joining Google, EE and other industry experts on Saturday 22nd June for the 30-hour hackathon, designed to pioneer the next generation of business apps.
By attending, you will have the opportunity to meet industry experts from EE, Google and Mubaloo, with more to be announced, as well as being able to learn about new APIs that can be added to your app to make it stand out with the judges! The event is free to attend with free food and drink, and you are also welcome to stay overnight, just make sure you bring a sleeping bag!
There are some suggested themes for the event but you’re more than welcome to just come along and code as well:
1. Real-time collaboration with 4G for the business sector
2. Real-time collaboration with 4G for the public sector
3. Augmented reality app for business
We will be judging the event alongside EE and Google, and there will be a number of API partners on hand to help you with your app. Prizes up for grabs include 12 month 4GEE contracts for all participants in winning teams, with £2000 of Amazon, iTunes and Google Play vouchers to give away as well! Every attendee also gets a free Huawei mobile WiFi device with 50GB of 4G data!
If you are interested in discovering what’s possible with mobile then come and join the fun! Designers and developers across all platforms, and all experience ranges are welcome! The 30-hour hackathon is taking place in London from 9am on Saturday 22nd June 2013 and will run right through the night until 2pm on Sunday 22nd.
