Mobile Marketing had already reported on the acquisition earlier this year, so were keen to see how IPG Mediabrands and Mubaloo had developed their collaboration over the course of 2016. Mobile Marketing caught up recently with Sarah Weller, Mubaloo Managing Director, and Jason Carter, IPG’s Chief Digital Officer EMEA. Commenting on how the acquisition has benefitted the business as a whole, Carter said that from the start, IPG knew that Mubaloo would be a really good fit and an asset to new and existing clients. “IPG want them on every pitch because what they do is the really interesting stuff.”

Sarah Weller also commented how being part of IPG Mediabrands has opened doors for Mubaloo, both in terms of enterprise mobility clients and consumer-facing brands: “Going into next year, we have a lot to feel really confident about in terms of what we can offer to new businesses but also to the IPG agencies. I’ve never been this excited.”
