Eurapp is hosting a “Rebooting the EU App Economy
” workshop in Berlin on the 13th of November 2013 and we’re really pleased to announce that Mubaloo CEO, Mark Mason, will speaking be at the event.
Eurapp is a study of the European app economy launched by the European Commission to provide a comprehensive review of the size of the mobile app economy in Europe. The project aims to generate a high quality database on the knowledge, attitudes and beliefs of stakeholders in the mobile app ecosystem across Europe. We think it’s really important to be involved in initiatives like this and want to help push the benefits that apps can bring beyond the UK.
We were invited to the Rebooting the EU App Economy workshop to share our knowledge and experience in mobile apps across the enterprise. Mark Mason will be making the trip to Berlin the morning after the National Business Awards
to provide his insights on where he thinks the mobile space is heading. Mubaloo recently opened a new office in Düsseldorf and we are hoping to make visits to Germany a lot more frequent in the coming months.
The app economy is huge. Apple alone has paid out over $13 billion to developers in just five years and it’s not only the consumer market that is thriving. Nearly all of the Fortune 500 are testing iPads as organisations are realising the value that enterprise apps
can bring to their business in terms of improved productivity and processes.
The workshop also includes talks from chief analyst at Mobile Groove, Peggy Anne-Salz, as well as analysts from GigaOM research and Vision Mobile.
The event is taking place at the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute, Berlin on the 13th November 2013.
