We are delighted to announce that London’s Air Ambulance, in partnership with Mubaloo and EE, has been shortlisted in the charity/not for profit category in this year’s UK Digital Experience Awards. Operating under the UK Customer Experience Awards, the UK Digital Experience Awards recognises and celebrates the delivery of extraordinary customer experiences through digital channels.

Since its launch in January 2015, the London’s Air Ambulance Dispatch App has become an awards finalist a total of 10 times in categories including Best Software Innovation, Mobile App of the Year, as an example of innovation excellence in mHealth.

By using this bespoke app, integrated with the London Ambulance Service Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), London’s Air Ambulance is now able to reduce the dispatch process by an average of two minutes. In some cases, the app has seen ground crews be re-dispatched in as little as 10 seconds, which has been achieved by reengineering the previous emergency dispatch process, supported by a bespoke mobile app.

The other UK Digital Experience Awards finalists, within the category, include the likes of the British Council, The Open University and Nottingham County Council.
