Offering a round-up of acquisitions across the mobile industry in 2016, Mobile Marketing published an article naming the most prominent acquisitions of 2016. Mubaloo’s acquisition by IPG Mediabrands was listed among acquisitions such as LinkedIn and SwiftKey by Microsoft.

Providing examples of how acquisitions can benefit both parties immediately, Mubaloo’s MD, Sarah Weller was quoted: “We have put a lot more focus into our relationships with Mediabrands, working closely with McCann and Initiative for example, who are pulling us in for the digital strategy parts. It’s giving us access to clients we would not have had a chance of getting in to pitch before.”
