MyMeteor App


Eircom, Ireland’s biggest telecommunications provider, wanted to create an easy-to-use self-service web app for their customers to keep on top of their account usage. Key objectives included: improving customer retention and putting the customer in control of their account, as well as reducing the amount of call centre enquiries, and in turn, making online or mobile the key point of contact for customers.

Eircom’s MyMeteor app is a free iPhone & Android web app that allows eircom customers to check their account balance and view recent calls, texts and data usage, as well as providing users with easy access to FAQs and eircom support forums. The app is available for Bill Pay and Pay As You Go customers.

Eircom’s MyMeteor app has been greatly received by the public and is helping to position eircom’s online and mobile channels as a key point of contact for customers. Now users can easily check all of their account details while they are on the move, as well as being able to to access support forums should they need to. The MyMeteor iPhone app also reached number 1 in the free apps category in the Irish App Store.
