This morning our Head of Android, Scott Bown, went live on BBC Radio Bristol to talk about the latest figures from Samsung. Stats from Comscore, reported in the Guardian earlier this week, show that in the U.S. since September 2009 Samsung has gone from being the third-largest in installed base (behind Motorola, which had 58.3m of the 234m users, and LG, which had 50.8m) to the leader, with 60.1m of the 234m.
John Darvell, who hosts BBC Radio Bristol’s weekday mid-morning slot, asked Scott a series of questions relating to Android’s marketshare in the UK and the US. You can listen to the full interview on BBC iPlayer for the next 7 days. Scott’s interview starts at 2 hours 42!
